It’s Auction Time!
Friendly reminder to begin thinking about those great items you will bring/donate to our fun auction being held at the annual conference in Mt. Pleasant. You may sell your item or choose somebody to sell it for you. This is a great way to give new auctioneers a chance to get on the microphone.
Items from the past included handmade wooden/metal products, collectibles & coins, tools, sporting event tickets, personal experience packages, auctioneer for a day/professional services, meat/cheese/wine baskets, advertising, pottery, items of popular brands including Yeti & Blackstone plus much more. Highlighting this year’s auction once again is an archery hunt from the Braun family where the big deer live.
Invite your family, friends and auction attendees to this great auction. Celebrate with them the auction industry and a chance to take home some great gifts.

Local Advertising Certificate Donations are a WIN – WIN!
We are asking all members to contact their local newspapers that they regularly use to donate advertising certificates. This is win-win for the Auctioneer donor and the MAA. You will be buying these ad spaces anyway, might as well buy the donated ad at the Benefit Auction and have the money go to the association. You can bring hundreds of dollars to the association with a simple phone call or email and it won’t cost you a thing!
