Annually, National Auctioneers Week is the week leading up to the first Saturday in May – National Auctioneers Day. Auctioneers across the nation take part in a week-long promotional campaign that highlights Auctioneers and their community involvement, educates and encourages buyers, sellers, and the general public about the auction method and what it means to be an auction professional. The National Auctioneers Association has declared Saturday, May 2 as National Auctioneers Day, a time to salute Auctioneers throughout the country for their expertise, ingenuity and creative efforts. Though one of the oldest forms of buying and selling goods, auctions remain a top choice by consumers today.
