Carl R. Fritz

Carl R. Fritz age 65 of Fostoria, MI. died Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at home with his family. Carl was born August 9, 1943 to Paul and Marie (Strine) Fritz in Kingston, MI, graduated from Mayville High School in 1962 then married Penny Cobb on June 30, 1962 in Vassar, MI. He retired from Pontiac Motors. He also was a farmer as well as an auctioneer. Carl loved his grandchildren and enjoyed playing his guitar, camping and farming.

He is survived by his wife: Penny, four children: Cindy (Don) Endert of Kingston, Scott Fritz of Los Angeles, CA, Sandra (Rod) Teeple of Grand Haven, Todd (Teresa) Fritz of Sebewaing, Mi. brother: Larry and (Betty) Fritz, two sisters: Marion (Donovan) Smith of Lapeer, Jean (Larry) Hiiter of Mayville, seven grandchildren: Bradley, Sherri, Christie, Clark, Jesse, Grant, Andrew and family pet: Lady. He was preceded in death by daughter: Sondra in 1964, grandchildren: Zoey and AlexSandra Teeple, parents: Paul and Marie Fritz, brother: Eugene and father-law, Maurice Cobb. Funeral services were held on Sunday, October 26, 2008 at the Colwood United Brethren Church of Caro, MI. Interment at Watertown Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Family Descretionary Fund.
