Alexander R. Niznak
Edward Jones
Alma, Michigan
Alex started life as a farm kid in the middle of the state on a grain farm north of St. Johns. One of his earliest memories is bundling up and going to St. Louis, Michigan to what was then Bader’s Annual Auction Sale. It was there that as a young boy with a large appetite he learned a lot of the larger sales often included some sort of breakfast, and if you cleaned your plate, it was all you could eat, he was hooked. Being a farm kid taught him the importance of hard work, timing, and preparation.
He found these traits all translated well to his academic and athletic career in high school and was fortunate to continue both at Central Michigan University and Southeast Missouri State University, receiving both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees respectively while on scholarship playing football. His first career after college took him out of the country for four years playing professional football internationally in Sweden, Brazil, and Japan. At the end of his fourth season, he was ready for a new challenge.
When the opportunity to come home and start a new journey and a new business presented itself it was something he couldn’t pass up. Since he has been with Edward Jones, he takes great pride in the times he and his team have been able to assist member of the local community. In his free time, he is an avid outdoorsman. Having grown up on a farm, nature has always had a special place in his heart.
