Bill attended Reppert Auction School in 1952. He\u2019s been blessed with 5 children and 8 grandchildren. He was a general Auctioneer for 46 years and has sold everything from Avon bottles to airplanes, but mostly antiques \u2013 highlights include: Post Tavern Motor Inn, Battle Creek & Hotel Anthony, Fort Wayne.<\/p>\n He was also a former Realtor, Appraiser, Township Supervisor, Township Assessor and past President of the Michigan State Auctioneers Association.<\/p>\n Being inducted into the Michigan State Auctioneers Association Hall of Fame is a great honor for Bill and was well deserved.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n<\/body>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" William O. William O. Coats <\/strong>graduated from Bronson High School in 1946. He was in the U.S. Navy from 1946-1949 (Atlantic, European & Caribbean Duty). Betty became his wife in 1949. She was lost to cancer in November 1994 after almost 46 years.<\/p>\n
