Celebrating 75 Years of Excellence in 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Founded in 1951, the Michigan Auctioneers Association (MAA) is the oldest and largest organization representing professional auctioneers in Michigan. For 75 years, the MAA has been dedicated to advancing the auction profession, providing education, advocacy, and resources to support its members and promote the auction method of marketing.<\/p>\n

The Association hosts semiannual meetings, educational seminars, and networking events, publishes the nationally award-winning quarterly magazine The Michigan Auction Gavel<\/em>, and actively represents auctioneers\u2019 interests with state agencies and the Michigan Legislature. Through its legislative efforts and educational initiatives, the MAA continues to elevate the professionalism and success of auctioneers across the state.<\/p>\n

The MAA has grown into a pillar of the auction industry, recognized for its leadership and innovation. The Association and its members have consistently earned top marketing awards, and its website \u2014 now promoted as FindMichiganAuctions.com<\/strong> \u2014 is one of the premier auction listing platforms in the country, featuring over 400 auctions daily and leveraging the latest technology to connect buyers and sellers across Michigan.<\/p>\n

The MAA has also had the distinct honor of hosting the National Auctioneers Association Conference three times: first in 1957 in Lansing; again in 1999 for the NAA\u2019s 50th Anniversary at the Amway Grand Hotel and DeVos Place in Grand Rapids; and most recently in 2016, also in Grand Rapids.<\/p>\n

As it celebrates its 75th Anniversary in 2026, the Michigan Auctioneers Association remains committed to innovation, advocacy, and education \u2014 ensuring the continued success of Michigan\u2019s auctioneers for generations to come.<\/p>\n
