The 2011 Marketing Competition was judged at the MSAA Annual Conference, January 24-27, 2012 in Lansing, MI. Auctioneers from across the state were awarded for their outstanding accomplishments in marketing. There was a total of approximately 190 entries in the 42 categories competed for in the coveted marketing competition. The most prestigious of the awards went to the Auction of the Year category, won by Merritt Auctions of Greenville, Michigan; the Website category, won by She Sold It of Lapeer, Michigan; and the Social Media Category, won by Beth Rose Auction Company of Maumee, Ohio.
